Terms and Conditions for Linked Slides

Linked Slides ("the Add-on") is a Google Slides™ Editor Add-on provided by Green Duck Punch LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Linked Slides Add-on. By installing, accessing, or using the Add-on, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Add-on.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Linked Slides Add-on, you signify your unreserved acceptance of these Terms. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you and Green Duck Punch LLC.
2. Description of Service
Linked Slides is a Google Slides Editor Add-on that scans a set of presentations selected by the user to find slides that are a linked copy of one of the currently selected slides. The results are presented in a sortable and filterable table, with links to the relevant source and target slides. The table also includes rows for selected slides that are not linked to any slides in the selected presentations.
3. License and Access
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Linked Slides Add-on for your internal business or personal use, subject to these Terms. You acknowledge and agree that we retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Add-on, including all intellectual property rights.
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your Google account credentials.
All activities that occur under your Google account while using the Add-on.
Ensuring that your use of the Add-on complies with all applicable laws and regulations.
5. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the Add-on for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. You shall not:
Modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive source code from the Add-on.
Use the Add-on in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any Google server or the networks connected to any Google server.
Interfere with any other party's use and enjoyment of the Add-on.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE ADD-ON IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS-IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. GREEN DUCK PUNCH LLC DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE ADD-ON WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. WE MAKE NO PROMISES OR GUARANTEES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR RELIABILITY OF THE ADD-ON'S OUTPUT. YOU USE THE ADD-ON AT YOUR SOLE RISK.
7. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL GREEN DUCK PUNCH LLC, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE ADD-ON, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES, LOSSES, AND CAUSES OF ACTION EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU, IF ANY, FOR ACCESSING OR USING THE ADD-ON DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE DATE OF THE CLAIM. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES WHETHER THE ALLEGED LIABILITY IS BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER BASIS.
8. Subscription, Billing, and Refund Policy
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Subscription: The Add-on operates on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees described in the Pricing Document.
Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (e.g., annually) unless canceled.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the subscription management portal. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will retain access to the Add-on until then. No prorated refunds will be issued for partial subscription periods.
Refund Policy: No refunds will be provided after the initial 30-day trial period. Your 30-day free trial allows you to fully evaluate the Add-on's features and suitability for your needs. After this trial, all sales are final.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion. By continuing to access or use our Add-on after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the breach, termination, or validity thereof shall be settled by binding arbitration in San Mateo County, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. The decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding upon the parties.
